Indianapolis, IN - May 6, 2009 - ProSolv CardioVascular, a Fujifilm company, is pleased to announce that Allina Hospitals and Clinics, Minneapolis, MN, has selected the Synapse™ ProSolv® cardiovascular solution to become its enterprise cardiovascular system. This system will be used at all of Allina’s hospitals providing cardiovascular services and by three different cardiology groups providing services within Allina. By implementing Synapse ProSolv cardiovascular, the health system will benefit from the ease of use and support, as well as long term financial savings that a single, unified product provides versus the use of the myriad, multi-vendor systems currently in place.

The initiative to consolidate all cardiovascular image and information management systems into one is driven by Allina’s desire to streamline cardiovascular staff workflow, as well to benefit from the significant financial and time management gains that result from supporting one system instead of many. Allina was driven to the Synapse ProSolv cardiovascular solution for a number of reasons, including their advanced system architecture and ability to deliver a long-term sustainable product.

Allina Health System completes almost 100,000 cardiovascular imaging exams annually. The Synapse ProSolv cardiovascular system will be used for cardiac catheterization, echocardiography, vascular ultrasound and nuclear cardiology imaging.
