MCLAREN HEALTH CARE SELECTS PROSOLV CARDIOVASCULAR FOR IMAGE AND INFORMATION MANAGEMENT

Partnership will deliver ultrasound and cath lab solutions to McLaren facilities

Indianapolis, IN - October 14, 2008 - ProSolv Cardiovascular, a FUJIFILM company, is pleased to announce the signing of a new sole source agreement with McLaren Health Care Corp, Flint, MI. The multi-hospital system will implement cardiovascular image and information systems (CVIIS) for cardiac catheterization and echocardiography, utilizing ProSolv CardioVascular’s leading image management and reporting systems at all McLaren facilities.

One of the top 25 integrated health care systems in the US, McLaren includes eight regional hospitals in Michigan, with plans to further expand the healthcare enterprise into the east and west sections of the Michigan market.

"Having a single, standardized cardiovascular information system in use across our corporation will not only unify our operations from hospital to hospital, it will provide us with the value and efficiency of running all our facilities on a single database," said David Dickey, Corporate Director of Clinical Engineering, McLaren Health Care Corporation. "ProSolv CardioVascular’s status as a leader in the market solidifies our conviction that this agreement will help our corporation expand its reach while providing the best possible patient care."

The multi-year agreement names ProSolv CardioVascular as McLaren's sole source vendor for both cardiovascular information solutions and associated services. The company's CVIIS is a web-based, vendor- and hardware-neutral, software-only solution offering full integration of all cardiovascular modalities. The web-based functionality of the system offers users a single point of entry to instant image viewing, advanced quantification and reporting capabilities from any location. With the single common database design, clinicians and staff are able to easily access the information they need to work efficiently and deliver superior care.

"Our customer-focused approach and commitment to vendor neutrality make ProSolv CardioVascular an ideal provider of image and information management solutions and services for large integrated health care systems like McLaren," said Aaron Waitz, ProSolv CardioVascular President and CEO. "This agreement demonstrates that we can meet the full spectrum of cardiovascular image and information management needs in an efficient and effective manner while allowing clinicians to select the imaging equipment that best meets the diagnostic utility for their institutions."
